Pioneering Urgent Care Medical Services In San Antonio
We Take Care Of Your Urgent Care Needs
In 1982, hospital emergency rooms were overcrowded. The ER was the only location people could receive medical care after-business hours. Texas MedClinic- established by renowned emergency physician, Dr. Bernard Swift- was designed to fill a need for urgent medical care in San Antonio and, ultimately, across South Central Texas.
How Can We Help?
Dr. Swift recognized that the San Antonio community needed convenient, affordable urgent care and occupational medicine on a walk-in basis, after-business hours, to care for Life’s Little Emergencies. Through meticulous planning, attention to detail, and quality control procedures, Texas MedClinic has grown to 18 locations throughout South Central Texas, with multiple clinics opening before the end of 2018.
Over the last 35 years, Texas MedClinic, its founders, providers and staff have earned numerous awards for medical care, customer service and business acumen. From its humble beginnings on Blanco Road, Texas MedClinic has earned the community’s respect, and has become the trusted resource for walk-in, urgent family care, treating more than 5 million patients.
