Effective October 18, 2012
Texas MedClinic will no longer be a participating providerwith BCBS.
We hope you value the quality, efficient, convenient, and cost-effective healthcare TMC provides, and we welcome the opportunity to continue seeing you and your family members as patients. In light of the contract termination, please consider the following information for visits on or after October 18, 2012:
- We will no longer accept BCBS insurance as payment for your service(s)
- We will not file your claim with BCBS
- You will be responsible for payment of our standard fees
- We will expect payment in full at time of service
- You will receive a prompt pay discount upon payment in full at the time of service
- We will provide you with an Encounter Bill containing the necessary information for you to file for reimbursement directly with BCBS
Employers Not Affected by this Termination
Some employers who have BCBS as their healthcare insurance have chosen to enter into a direct agreement with TMC. Employees of these companies will not be affected by this termination. Below is a list of employers who have a direct agreement with TMC.
