All 19 Texas MedClinic locations in region offering Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine to adults, children 12 years and older - Texas MedClinic Urgent Care

The COVID-19 Pfizer vaccine is now available at all 19 Texas MedClinic locations in San Antonio, New Braunfels, Bulverde, Austin and Round Rock, 10 a.m.- 8 p.m. on weekdays and 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. on weekends. Reservations are required and can be made by checking in online at texasmedclinic.com.

A registered COVID-19 vaccination provider through the Texas Department of Health and Human Services since December, Texas MedClinic received confirmation in early May that they should receive a consistent supply of Pfizer vaccine.

“It’s an honor and public service to help our communities reach herd immunity through vaccination,” said Texas MedClinic Chief Operating Officer and practicing physician Dr. David Gude. “We hope that our online registration system combined with multiple locations that cover a broad geographic area along with evening and weekend hours make it easy for people.”

With the Federal Drug Administration (FDA) authorizing emergency use of the Pfizer BioNTech vaccine for children ages 12-15, clinics are prepared to help parents navigate their child’s vaccination process.

“Children ages 12-17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian,” said Gude.

Since March 24, the urgent care provider has administered 15,000 vaccines at select clinics in partnership with the San Antonio Metropolitan Health District (Metro Health) and other San Antonio medical providers. In March 2020 Texas MedClinic was the first in the region to offer a COVID-19 rapid antigen test that provided results in 15 minutes. Since the onset of the pandemic, close to 300,000 rapid antigen tests have been administered across 19 clinic locations.
