Had a bad experience at a Texas MedClinic some years ago, so I haven’t really been back. I was leery about going there in the first place, but I needed urgent care. And wow, how things have changed. Staff is super friendly and ready to provide prompt and courteous service. The doctor who treated me was just awesome. I can’t heap enough praise on these folks. I won’t say I’ll be back soon, but the next time I need any kind of care, I’m headed there fast. And with online check in available? What else could you ask for?
Due to COVID 19 testing, we are experiencing increased patient volume. We encourage ALL PATIENTS SEEKING COVID 19 TESTING to CHECK IN ONLINE before arriving at our clinics. We are still able to see urgent medical problems on a walk-in basis. CHOOSE YOUR CLINIC to avoid the wait.
We are here to keep you SAFE and keep you WELL.
During these uncertain times, Texas MedClinic is working closely with health authorities, including the San Antonio Metropolitan Health Department, to assure COVID-19 testing is available in the communities that we serve.
Our 13 clinics in San Antonio are OPEN 7-days a week, 8 a.m.- 11 p.m. We have 3, 24-hour locations that are still open 24 hours.
Here’s what you need to know:
- Check in On-line. With the current social distancing measures, we are only allowing 1 person in our lobby at a time. All patients are masked when entering a Texas MedClinic.
- A clinical evaluation by one of our doctors/providers is required. Fees will apply, but should be covered by most commercial insurance plans.
Those seeking a COVID-19 test must undergo a medical exam; the test and exam have a fee that most insurance plans cover.
