    POSITION: ApplyUrgent Care Billing Manager
    DEPARTMENT: Billing
    GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:  Manages the staff that performs individual and urgent care (non-work related) insurance billing and collection, medical records and accounts receivable posting.  In the leadership role, the UCBM is expected to exemplify the Vision, Mission and Values of the organization and to help their staff meet the same professional standards through the training and direction provided.  Management responsibilities include ensuring that billing and collection processes, and the execution of those processes, are appropriate, accurate, timely, and in accordance with internal and third party payer requirements and contract terms. Technical responsibilities include creation and maintenance of insurance payers, performing complex or corrective billing transactions, approval of urgent care patient adjustments, ICD-9 maintenance, oversight of compliance with regulations and assistance with contract negotiation, implementation and enforcement.  

    EDUCATION AND TRAINING:  ·         High School Diploma or GED ·         Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years related experience preferred; or at least 7 years equivalent related experience·         3 + years leadership/supervisory experience required·         Healthcare experience required
